2012 Winter ID Camp

When: January 21st, 2012, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Where: Gardner-Webb University
Fee: $90.00 per player
The purpose of this camp will be to provide soccer players that are looking to play in college an opportunity to be trained and evaluated by the Gardner-Webb University Men’s Soccer coaching staff in a high-intensity training environment similar to the environment they will experience at the college level. The camp is open to boys from grades 9-12. The focus of the training sessions will be the tactical and technical development of the college-ready soccer player through exercises centered on speed of play, decision-making, competitiveness, and team play. There will also be 11v11 match play which will give the player an excellent opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of the GWU coaching staff. The camp will also include classroom sessions in which the coaching staff and current GWU players will discuss and answer questions about the college recruiting process and what it takes to play at the college level.
